Station Product Center

Tazawako Ichi, or Tazawako market, is a local product center using an old reconstructed folk dwelling. It opened in April, 2006. Vegetables and mountain plants provided by local farmers, locally brewed sake, confectionery, and souvenirs are on sale. Visitors to the center can also taste homegrown hundred-percent buckwheat.
As located in front of Tazawako Station, the center is a convenient place to go even when waiting for the shinkansen. Baggage lockers are available.
