Arupa Komakusa

Arupa Komakusa was newly opened on June 1, 2006 as the home of Tazawako Plateau.
It is composed of 3 facilities: Shizen Fureai Hot Spring Center, Akita Komagatake Information Center, and Komagatake Volcano Disaster-Prevention Station.
Arupa Komakusa is located in the old 11.3 hectare Komakusa Inn site. The building is a wooden, mountain lodge-like bungalow. There are also walk paths, a mini park, and 240 parking lot spaces. It is convenient to park here and make a transfer to a bus when climbing Akita Komagatake.

Traffic access Take regular bus from JR Tazawako Station (Nyuto Hot Springs Line or Komagatake Line), get off at Arupa Komakusa stop (approx. 35 minutes required)
