Sightseeing Spots: Dakigaeri/Jindai/Shiraiwa
Kinpo Shrine
The 350 to 800 years-old Japanese cedar tree line (prefecturally-designated natural treasure) along the approach is wonderful. The deva gate was erected on 1857, with guardian devas carved out of single cedar trees. Every year at the annual festival on August 18, the "Umezawa Sasara" dance is offered to the shrine.
