Sabo Culture Park

Sabo Culture ParkAs part of the direct-controlled volcanic erosion control program of Hachimantai, Kosendatsu River First Sabo Dam was completed on 1995. The area around the dam was developed as a park and named Sabo Culture Park.

The park has 16,000 square meters of grass field, with Tazawako within view. It was the site of the 51st Akita Pref. Shokujusai (tree-planting ceremony).
