Kuroyu Hot Springs

Located furthest up the Hot Spring Village, it has a long history second only to Tsurunoyu Hot Springs. Thatched-roof bath houses stand at the meeting point of Sendatsugawa Stream and Kuroyuzawa Stream, forming an air of Hito--secluded hot springs. Along with open-air bathes, the utase-yu, a bath with the hot water coming down in a fall-like shower, is especially good. Closed during winter.
