Sightseeing Spots: Nyuto Area
Karafuki Moor
From the vacation village, 20 minute's walk on the footpath. A moor surrounded by woods of beeches and maples. The moor was formed by hot spring activities. In early May, when other places still have meters of snow left, this moor is already thawed, and has Mizubasho (Japanese Skunk Cabbage) blossoming.
