Around Tamagawa hot springs, the streams flowing from Hachimantai become more river-like. Weaving their way through broad leaf forests, they flow into Tamagawa Reservoir (Hosenko Lake). The contrast between the clear stream and the virgin forest is beautiful and dynamic.
